Mullein Ear Oil
A remedy for earaches, used to soothe inflamed tissue and remove excess wax.
Fresh Mullein Flowers
Olive Oil
Pack the flowers unwashed into a jar. Washing adds too much moisture and will spoil the oil. Fill the jar almost to the top, attach a piece of cheesecloth over the top of the jar with a rubberband and sit in a warm place for about 2 weeks, strain and bottle. The cheesecloth allows the moisture to evaporate decreasing the risk of spoilage.
Antibiotic Garlic Oil
Garlic
Olive Oil
Peel the garlic and slice thinly, put in a pint jar and cover with oil, cover jar with cheesecloth and fasten with a rubberband, let stand for 2 weeks. Strain, press and bottle in an amber bottle.
Mix the garlic oil and Mullein oil 50/50 and use a dropper to treat earaches. DO NOT use if eardrum is perforated.
